This is a line project that was meant to increase proficiency with rendering images with the pen, pencil, brush, and shape tools. Color was to be ignored & more focus was placed on contrast between black and white.
We were to research famous pieces of art and master copy their images into illustrator. I chose to do American Gothic by Grant Woods. This painting was composed in 1930 at the beginning of the American Great Depression. I chose this painting it for its honesty.
