Project focused on recycling building materials for a fundraiser fashion show - "Nail the Runway." Teams of five had the objective of creating an outfit for the show only using building materials.
Warrior
Metal sheeting, paint stir sticks, paint can handles, convection tape, Tyvek paper, paint, screws, nails, & window screens
Freshmen
The dress had to be made out of 50% building materials and the special element they wanted everyone to incorporate into the outfit was reflection. Our dress was picked along with 25 other entries and our design team won one of five awards! Each dress received bids as a fundraiser for habitat. This was a great experience and it was a wonderful way to give back to the Brookings community.
