This was a color project that expanded on our previous experience with line and added in color control to the mix. I decided to go with a monochromatic blue color scheme - this helped me associate light and darks across the composition.
We were to research famous pieces of art and master copy their images into illustrator. I chose to do American Gothic by Grant Woods. This painting was composed in 1930 at the beginning of the American Great Depression. I chose this painting it for its honesty.
